Chiamaka Anulika Nwokolo - Founder of The Anulika Circle

Chiamaka Anulika Nwokolo

Chiamaka is a certified Life and Health Coach, Counselor Trainee at Northwestern University, and former professional athlete with a deep passion for helping others move toward their most authentic, integrated, and joyful selves. Her middle name, Anulika, means "joy is greater," "happiness is supreme," or "joy surpasses all" in Igbo—a meaning that inspired The Anulika Circle's guiding phrase: Where Joy Is a Preference.

The Anulika Circle grew from Chiamaka's own journey of learning what it means to choose joy in every area of life. After experiencing challenges with her mental health and being offered psychiatric medication, she began exploring what it would look like to care for her well-being more holistically. By shifting her perspective and making intentional changes to her lifestyle, movement, nourishment, relationships, and community, she learned firsthand that meaningful transformation is not the result of a quick fix. It begins by addressing wellness at the foundation and building a life that can genuinely support who you are becoming.

Her experience as a professional athlete deeply shapes her approach. The highest level athletes do not develop through insight alone or quick fixes. They train consistently, study their patterns, care for their bodies, recover intentionally, build supportive teams, and practice the skills required to perform well. Chiamaka believes life requires the same kind of intentional preparation.

Through The Anulika Circle, she helps people train their minds, strengthen their habits, care for their bodies, and build healthier relationships. Her work encourages people to approach their well-being with the same discipline, patience, support, and consistency that athletes bring to their development—not in pursuit of perfection, but in pursuit of a stronger, more grounded life.

The Anulika Circle brings insight into practice through coaching, wellness education, movement-based experiences, and intentional, enjoyable community gatherings. Chiamaka's approach recognizes that no two journeys are the same and that meaningful support requires an understanding of the full context of a person's life—their perspective, patterns, relationships, environment, habits, body, and lived experiences.

Her work is rooted in the belief that information alone does not create transformation. Change becomes possible when awareness is supported by action, repetition, embodiment, accountability, connection, and spaces where growth can feel both practical and enjoyable.

The Anulika Circle was created for people to feel seen, supported, and meaningfully challenged as they train for a life that feels more aligned, grounded, joyful, and whole.
